Sending a tip

Good tips share a shape. If you can, include:

  • What happened - specifically, with when and where.
  • How you know - firsthand, secondhand, documents, footage.
  • Anything we can verify against - photos, videos, links, records, names of others who can confirm.
  • A way to reach you, even anonymously. Follow-up questions save stories.
Source protection

If you ask for anonymity, you get it. We do not share source identities without consent, and a commitment to protect a source, once made, is kept. For sensitive material, request a secure channel by email first and we'll set one up.

Requesting a correction

Corrections are the fastest queue we have - they outrank everything else. Select "Correction request" in the form, or email with the story link, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and any supporting evidence. If you're right, the correction is published visibly in the story's timeline, per our standards.

Common questions

How fast will I hear back?

General inquiries: 24-48 hours on business days. News tips: usually within hours. Corrections: same day where possible. Partnerships and media inquiries: 2-3 business days. During major breaking events the newsroom prioritizes coverage, so non-urgent replies may lag slightly.

Can I submit a tip anonymously?

Yes. Use any contact method without identifying yourself, or say you want anonymity and we'll honor it. Leaving some way to reach you - even a throwaway email - helps us ask follow-up questions, which is often the difference between a publishable story and a dead end.

How do I report an error in a story?

Send the story link, the specific claim, and why you believe it's wrong. We trace every correction request against sources. Verified errors are corrected in the story's visible timeline - not silently rewritten.

Do you accept guest articles or op-eds?

Occasionally, from people with verifiable expertise on a subject we cover. Pitch first - credentials, the argument, and why you're the right person to make it. Anything we publish goes through the same standards as our own work and is labeled per our editorial policy.

Can we partner with Noteworthy News?

We're open to partnerships with newsrooms, educators, and fact-checking organizations - especially work that advances media literacy. Describe your organization and the collaboration you have in mind. Note that no partnership buys influence over coverage.

Are you available for interviews or commentary?

Yes, on fact-checking, verification, and live news coverage. Select "Media inquiry" and include your outlet, topic, and deadline.
